Anil Chowdhary asserts that Congress will regularize all temporary employees within six months if the Municipal Corporation of Delhi takes over

Party president Anil Chowdhary on Tuesday said the Delhi Congress will regularize all temporary workers, including daily wage workers, in the MCD if voted to power.

Releasing another ‘vision document’ of the party for the MCD polls, Chowdhary asserted that the party would regularize all temporary employees within six months if the Municipal Corporation of Delhi takes over.

Chowdhary also alleged that the BJP did not spend the money meant for the welfare of Dalits, of which around Rs 2,500 crore has not been utilised.

“The Congress government in MCD will ensure social, financial, religious and cultural justice to Dalits,” he said.

He blamed Arvind Kejriwal for the menace of garbage across Delhi, which he accused of not releasing funds to pay the salaries of sanitation workers.

“We will ensure that no Dalit family remains unemployed. We will also ensure maintenance-free RO water purifiers for Dalit wards in all 42 reserved wards by making them ‘model wards’. Chowdhary claimed that his colonies would also be garbage free.

He further said that Delhi Congress will give rent-free flats to Dalits, maximum exemption in house tax and license to street vendors under the Rajiv Ratan Awas Yojana.
