Coimbatore : RS Purmi Women cops in Coimbatore got custody for two days on Thursday Mithun Chakraborty, a former teacher in a private school, who was arrested for sexually assaulting a girl student and abetting her suicide.

RS Puram All Women Police Inspector Masutha Begum petition was filed in the special court for poxo On Wednesday, a five-day police custody of the school teacher was demanded in the case.
The petition was heard on Thursday morning. The teacher was escorted from the court udumalpet Sub-jail. The court sent him to two-day police custody.
The girl student committed suicide at her residence on November 11. Mithun Chakraborty was arrested by the police on 12 November.
Former headmaster of a private school, Mira Jackson, who was arrested for failing to act on the girl’s complaint of sexual harassment, got conditional bail on Wednesday.
