CM Khattar’s meeting to open Singhu border: After talks on Tuesday, farmers had given assurance of opening a one-way road; Discussion on the future strategy continues

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal is taking a high level meeting today to open the Singhu border. Chief Minister, Home Minister Anil Vij, DGP and Home Secretary are also present in this. In the meeting, special discussion is possible from the farmers’ movement.

A day before this, a meeting was held in Sonepat on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Lalit Siwach. In which he urged the farmers to give way for movement of people from one side on GT Road, so that the problems faced by the common people can be removed. On which the farmers have given confidence. The administration has succeeded in getting this done after 9 months and the door of this success is open from Karnal.

Further strategy being made in the meeting
After the meeting with the DC on Tuesday, the farmers have given positive signs to open the one-way road. After which the government is now considering the strategy ahead, how to remove the farmers from there. Where should they be given a place to dharna now?

The Supreme Court had ordered
The Deputy Commissioner said that on the PIL filed by Monika Aggarwal, the Supreme Court has ordered that in the public interest, the farmers, who are protesting on the Kundli-Singhu border, should be cleared of a one-way road. After this, on the request of Lalit Siwach, the farmer representatives said that they would consider it.

For this, he will inform the administration soon after meeting with other representatives of United Kisan Morcha. Some farmer representatives said that in the event of leaving the one-way route, they should be provided with an alternative place at another place. The closure of the National Highway from the Delhi side and the erecting of the wall is also a major problem.
