Images of bodies scattered on a street in the Kyiv suburb of Bucha after the withdrawal of Russian troops have gone viral on social media. A mass grave has also been found in the town, in which residents say they believe at least 400 people were buried there.

The Kremlin, however, called the images fake and suggested the scenes were staged by Ukrainians, the AP reported.

Tirumurti said India has been sending humanitarian supplies, including medicines and other essential relief materials, to Ukraine and its neighbors since the invasion began 40 days ago.

“We are ready to provide more medical supplies to Ukraine in the coming days,” he said.

Tirumurti further said, “India remains deeply concerned at the deteriorating situation and reiterates its call for an immediate cessation of violence and an end to hostilities. We have recognized the need to pursue the path of diplomacy and dialogue from the very beginning of the conflict.” But it has been stressed,” Tirumurti added. said.

Bucha’s scenes have drawn international outrage, with Western leaders calling for an investigation into war crimes and new sanctions against Russia.

In his address to the UNSC, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that the actions of Russian troops were “no different from other terrorists like Daesh”.

Zelensky called for accountability for Russian “crimes” in Ukraine and called for Russia’s expulsion from the UN Security Council. He said the massacre in Bucha was an example of what the Russian military was doing in Ukraine for the past 41 days.

The Guardian quoted Zelensky as saying, “Citizens were crushed by tanks, women were raped and killed in front of their children. What the Russian military did in Buka is brutal. Truly a violation of the United Nations Charter.” Has been done.”

“Russian actions in Ukraine have resulted in the worst war crime ever committed since the end of World War Two,” he added.
