NEW DELHI: A passenger who allegedly tried to end his life by jumping off an elevated bridge Delhi Airport prevented from taking extreme measures CISF personnel, a senior official said on Wednesday. The incident is said to have happened at around 8:20 am on Monday.
sergeants Anurodh Kumar Manjhi And Agamira Tirupati Nayak Of Central Industrial Security Force The (CISF) rapid response team noticed that the man was attempting to jump off the bridge in the departure area of Terminal-3 at the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) airport, the official said.
He said the personnel acted swiftly and prevented the passenger from jumping.
The man, who was to board a Vistara flight to Kochi, was apprehended. Thereafter, his family members took him with them from the airport, the official said.
