Rajkot: A brass factory owner, Kirit Chudasama, was robbed of cash and mobile worth Rs 28,000 he was returning home from Dared GIDC in Jamnagar. Police arrested Visrajan Jadeja, Indrajit Gohil and Dhruv Jadeja for the crime. The trio a scooter came in way of Chudasama who was on his motorcycle and started quarrelling. They demanded money for the damage to their vehicle to which Chudasama refused. They dragged Chudasama and robbed Rs 14,000 cash and his mobile phone. Later the accused told police that they were in need of money so they robbed Chudasama.
Rajkot trader cheated
Rajkot: A Rajkot-based trader was cheated of Rs 5.84 lakh by an Ahmedabad man. According to a complaint registered with Lodhika police station, Amrut Kapvan of Lodhika village near Rajkot, runs a food company and sells chickpea flour. In January, accused Bharat Patel, a resident of Naroda in Ahmedabad, ordered 200 bags (50kg each) of flour valued at Rs 5.84 lakh.
