This jump has propelled GAR Token to become the second largest project on the Solana blockchain in terms of the number of token holders.

Crypto token GARI has crossed the mark of 2 million token holders in just 11 months since its integration into the short-video app Chingari. The leap has propelled the GARI token to become the second largest project on the Solana blockchain in terms of the number of token holders, according to a company statement. It states that 1 million new token holders have been added to the GARI network in the last 10 days.

As part of the GARI mining program, users and creators are rewarded with GARI for watching, commenting on and uploading videos to Chingari’s app. Gari Chingari is the original crypto token.

Chingari said in the statement that since its launch in February 2022, the GARI crypto token has garnered a great deal of community support and attracted 600,000 token holders within three months. As of July 2022, 700k users had signed up for the Gari Wallet. With the number of token holders continuing to grow, 1 million token holders were registered on August 2, 2022, and have now passed the 2 million milestone.

Sumit Ghosh, CEO & Co-Founder, Chingari said, “The 2 million user milestone is a testament to the continued adoption of the Chingari app among new users. With the launch of our initiatives such as Video NFT Marketplace, Subscription Plans, Audio Rooms and GARI Mining, users now have access to a wider range of options to monetize their content.”

Ghosh said he is passionate about helping users and creators benefit from the new tokenized economy, and Gari is at the core of his company’s efforts. “We look forward to the next phase of growth, as we plan to onboard the first 1 billion crypto users on the Chingari platform.”
