Chief Minister Charanjit Channi said in Chandigarh on Saturday that the Governor has stopped the file to confirm 36 thousand employees. Two times his Chief Secretary and once he has gone with the cabinet and asked to clear it. Despite this, the file has been stopped under the pressure of BJP.

CM Channi said that now on Monday the entire cabinet will go to meet the governor again. If even then the file is not cleared, then he will stage a dharna with the cabinet. The CM said that earlier I thought the governor was busy. However, now it seems that the file has been stopped due to political reasons. It is their duty that if the government has made a law, then clear it on time.

CM counting 100 works in 100 days

Before the Punjab elections, CM Charanjit Channi is counting 100 works done in the last 100 days. During the press conference in Chandigarh, the CM is counting the achievements of canceling expensive electricity agreements, waiving old electricity bills of 20 lakh families up to 2 kW, waiving water tank bills in cities and villages. Apart from this, he also said that there was a constitutional impediment in making such a law that only Punjabis should get jobs in Punjab. That’s why now it has been made a law that the one who has passed Punjabi in 10th, only he will get a government job in Punjab.

Students will be able to travel for free on I Card
CM Channi said that there will be free travel for private and government college-university students in government buses. As long as they do not have them, they can travel for free by showing their I card. He said that this relief will remain till March 31. Till then they will have to get the pass made. In order to allow the I card to be approved for free bus travel, we are mentioning this in the notification itself.
