Mumbai: New pictures of Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut from her upcoming film ‘Thalaivi’ have created a flutter on the internet. Actress J.J. Jayalalithaa, on whose life biopic ‘Thalaivi’ has been made. Fans are also praising Kangana’s performance in the way shown in the trailer.
In the new picture shared by Ramesh Bala on his official Twitter handle, Kangana Ranaut and Arvind Swamy can be seen bringing the magic of Jayalalithaa and MG Ramachandran on screen. Sharing the stills, Bala wrote, “New pics of @tearvindswami & #KanganaRanaut from #thalaivi”.
Earlier this year, on March 23, the makers of ‘Thalaivi’ released the trailer of the much-awaited film and Kangana Ranaut was praised for her performance and unmatched resemblance with actress and former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa.
Helmed by AL Vijay, ‘Thalaivi’ also stars Bhagyashree, Nassar, Raj Arjun and others in pivotal roles. The film was earlier scheduled to release in April earlier this year but got delayed due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis. As fans await the release of ‘Thalaivi’, the new release date of the film is yet to be announced.
Meanwhile, apart from ‘Thalaivi’, Kangana Ranaut also has ‘Dhaakad’ and ‘Tejas’ in her kitty. She will also step in place of former Prime Minister of India Indira Gandhi to portray her role in the upcoming film based on Emergency.
