From ruling the Billboard Hot 100 chart with their latest single Butter, South Korean band BTS is all set to rule the fashion world. The seven-member group made their runway debut as they presented the Fall 2021 Louis Vuitton collection on Wednesday. Korean pop icon and house ambassador presented the French luxury house’s latest collection for artistic director Virgil Abloh’s fashion show at an arts and culture space just outside Seoul.
BTS was named as the brand ambassador for LV back in April. Speaking to Women’s Wear Daily, Abloh said that her original collection explores fanciful ideas of travel, and the fashion film will be a dialogue between space, movement and global connectivity, drawing inspiration from the energy of the South Korean capital. . Abloh further noted that Seoul has “unique energy and BTS perfectly embodies this vibe.”

The Instagram reel posted by LV shows the seven members – RM, Jin, V, Suga, J-Hope, Jung Kook and Jimin – donning haute couture creations and channeling their charming personalities.
The fashion movie has certainly got all the BTS fans known as Cena excited. Many fans applauded the group’s ability to transcend their creative expressions in various fields. As one fan tweeted, “Being a singer, rapper, dancer, artist, actor, writer, producer and now model, only @BTS_twt understand the assignment.” Intrepid fans also called BTS the epitome of perfection.
As one user praised band member Suga aka Min Yongi and tweeted, “Min Yongi invented the name Catwalk.” Some fans also pointed out how BTS’s collaboration with LV reflects how their phenomenal fandom has fueled the representation of Asians and people of color in the mainstream art and fashion industry.
