CBSE Board Exams 2023: According to the datesheet released by the board, the 10th exam will start from February 15 and end on March 21, while the 12th exam will continue till April 5.

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) The board exam 2023 for class 10 and 12 will start from 15 February. While last year, the board exams were divided into two parts, in 2020 and 2021 the 10th, 12th exams had to be canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic induced lockdown. In 2020 the exam was conducted for only a few papers and in 2021 an alternate method to prepare the scorecard was prepared by CBSE.

“To bring the session back in sync, CBSE board exams are starting early this time, which is making the kids a bit nervous. The good thing about the date sheet is that there is good spacing between major subjects, but less between regional language and major subject papers,” says Sunita Mishra, Sai International School, Bhubaneswar.

According to the date sheet released by the board, the 10th examination will start from 15th February and end on 21st March while the 12th examination will continue till 5th April.

Meena Mittal, Vice Principal, Modern Public School, Shalimar says, “The exam dates have been decided keeping in mind the competitive exams like JEE Main, which helps the students to prepare effectively for competitive exams as well as board exams. will provide sufficient time for Garden.

“However, students appearing for a combination of subjects may find the date sheet a bit daunting. For example, a student appearing for Information Practice on 23rd February will have to appear for Professional Studies on 25th February for a theoretical and important subject only within a gap of one day. In such a scenario, students must compulsorily focus and plan and prepare for important topics well in advance.”

“The Board Exam Time Table schedule is well-planned for all the subjects with sufficient gaps which will provide enough time to the students to revise. However, for the Class 10 Hindi paper, being a major subject, a little more margin could have been given. Class 12 Marketing comes immediately after English which can also be a bit hectic for the students. Otherwise everything else is well kept,” said MA Anitha, Vice-Principal, Jain International Residential School (JIRS), Bengaluru.

To excel in board exams following the current date sheet, students need to keep practicing with sample papers and mock tests, give priority to last-minute revision and schedule your practice sessions. Mittal said that the entire focus of the students should be on completing the entire syllabus in a disciplined and time-bound manner.
