New Year 2023: President Draupadi Murmu greeted people for the New Year and hoped that the year 2023 brings new inspiration, goals and achievements in people’s lives. The President asked the people to take a pledge to rededicate themselves to the unity, integrity and inclusive development of the nation.

“Happy New Year everyone! Greetings and best wishes to all fellow citizens and Indians living abroad. May the year 2023 bring new inspiration, goals and achievements in our lives. Earlier, on the eve of New Year 2023, the President sent greetings to all the countrymen. In a message, the President has said, “On the occasion of the New Year, I extend my heartiest greetings and good wishes to all countrymen and all Indians living abroad. May the dawn of the new year bring new energy, new happiness.” Goals, motivation and big achievements in our life. On this occasion, let us resolve to rededicate ourselves to the unity, integrity and inclusive development of the nation. I wish progress and prosperity to our glorious nation and people in the year 2023. ,

PM Modi’s wishes for the day:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also extended greetings for the new year and hoped that it would be filled with hope, happiness and lots of success.

“May you have a wonderful 2023! May it be filled with hope, happiness and lots of success. May everyone be blessed with wonderful health,” the Prime Minister said in a tweet.

With dazzling fireworks and electrifying music, cities across India welcomed the year 2023 with much pomp and show. From Delhi to Mumbai and Chennai to Kolkata, the mood on the night of December 31 was merry-go-round. A large number of people gathered at India Gate to celebrate New Year in Delhi. Special parties were organized in pubs and clubs in different parts of the national capital.

The excitement was on the rocks in the ‘city of dreams’ Mumbai, with people grooving to upbeat music in pubs. A huge crowd gathered at Marine Drive in Mumbai to celebrate the New Year.
