Noida: Beneficiaries who have not been able to verify themselves Aadhaar Cards can still get free ration with the help of one-time password (OTP) on their phone.

Cardholders are eligible for 35 kg ration – 20 kg wheat and 15 kg rice, black gram, iodised salt, cooking oil and soybean. Ration will be distributed daily from 6 am to 9 pm. The District Magistrate has instructed the ration dealers to keep the shops open on all days. The distribution of food grains will be done in the presence of nodal officers. Officials said dealers have been asked to stock all the items listed for distribution food security act2013.
If cardholders are given food grains less than their entitlement, they can lodge a complaint with the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, District Supply Officers and Regional Food Supply Officers. If dealers are found guilty then FIR can be registered against them.
