Patna : State cabinet The government’s proposal to spend Rs 6,016 crore to strengthen the health infrastructure in Bihar was approved on Tuesday. The funds to be provided by the Center from the state’s share on the recommendations of the 15th Finance Commission are to be utilized over five financial years from 2021-22 to 2025-26.
The cabinet approved 13 proposals of Panchayati Raj, Urban Development, Building Construction and other departments in a meeting held at Valmikinagar in West Champaran district, about 300 km from Patna. The meeting was presided over by the CM. did Nitish Kumar,
Out of Rs 6,016 crore, Rs 4,802 crore has been given to Panchayati Raj Department as health sector grant to be spent over five years till 2025-26 financial year for setting up and improving health facilities at Panchayat level.
Similarly, Rs 229 crore has been given to the Urban and Housing Department to spend on the construction of diagnostic infrastructure and other primary health facilities in the urban primary health centers of the state. In addition, Rs 984 crore will be spent on urban health and wellness centers during the period 2021-22 and 2025-26.
Apart from this, the cabinet also approved the government’s proposal for immediate release of Rs 350 crore to meet the expenditure on creation of necessary infrastructure for class XI and XI. twelfth There are no such schools in 677 upgraded higher secondary schools in panchayats.
Cabinet approves revised estimate for construction of Anjuman Islamia Hall

The cabinet approved the revised estimate of Rs 50 crore submitted by the Building Construction Corporation in relation to the construction of Anjuman Islamia Hall in Muradpur, Patna under the Bihar State Waqf Board Development Scheme. The cabinet approved the state’s share in the investment of Rs 16 crore in respect of PM Matsya Sampada Yojana.
A total of Rs 40 crore, including a central share of Rs 24 crore, will be used on schemes by the Department of Animal and Fisheries Resources during the financial year 2021-22. The cabinet approved the proposal for payment of valid incentive amount on investment of Rs 278 crore of Varun Beverages at Barauni Industrial Development Center in Begusarai for production of soft drinks, juices, beverages, fruit juices and packaged drinking water. Similarly, Bihar Distillers and Bottlers Private Limited has also been approved for payment of equal incentive amount for ethanol plant and unit 1 of captive power plant located at Sahar Dewari at an investment of Rs 16.84 crore. Garhani In Bhojpur district, the Council of Ministers also approved relaxation of norms for setting up a regional office of the Food Corporation of India (FCI) at Digha Ghat in Patna. Besides this, the cabinet also approved the installation of audio-visual system and material production and exhibition at the upcoming Bapu Tower in Patna.
