Buddha Purnima Bank Holiday 2023: According to the holiday calendar list released by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), tomorrow, May 5, 2023, banks in some states of India will be closed to mark Buddha Purnima.

Due to this auspicious occasion, it has been declared that many banks located in various states will remain closed, which may potentially cause some degree of inconvenience to the customers who may have urgent banking needs or requirements.

A wide range of transactions, from depositing cheques, receiving demand drafts, and even withdrawing funds, may be disrupted and stopped during this designated bank holiday.

The list suggests that Indian banks will have a total of 12 holidays in May 2023, taking into account weekends and the second and fourth Saturdays of the month.
