The 97 Liner Squad is one of the friendlies in K-pop, consisting of members born from top K-pop boy groups in 1997, including BTS’ Jungkook.

97 Liners are here to dominate the K-pop fandom once again. Recently, Jungkook of BTS, Cha Eun Woo of Astro and Mingyu of Seventeen got together for dinner. It was K-pop idol Mingyu who shared glimpses of their close encounter via Instagram on Saturday, April 8.

In the pictures, Mingyu brings her funky street style to the game by opting for a baggy hoodie paired with denim shorts. Black sneakers paired with cute white socks and a small fanny pack completed her style. Meanwhile, Junkook and Cha Eun Woo can be seen twinning in black outfits. While the BTS member layered his look with a woolen jacket and a round hat, the Astro singer completed his fashion statement with a black zipper and matching beanie.

Along with several solo pics of Mingyu, the post includes a photo of her making a peace sign with Jungkook. Another, sees the trio posing for a happy picture with a lavish spread of food on their table. Mingyue posted the photos, writing “Good evening” in the caption segment. Check it out here:

The post, which created a massive buzz on Instagram, was flooded with excited reactions from fans. One user wrote, “Jungkook, Yoon Woo and Mingyu, triple kill. I’m speechless. Just in tears. This is not real in any way.” Another commented, “This made my day.” Another added, “You all look great. Shine Kings. 97 Squad.” Meanwhile, a fan also demanded a variety show featuring the idols, “97 Liner Soup Please.”

On the work front, Cha Eun Woo shared screen space with Kim Nam Gil and Lee Da Hee in the K-drama Island. It is based on a webtoon set against the backdrop of Jeju Island where three people come together to defeat the evil forces out to destroy the world. BTS’ Jungkook continues to make headlines for his frequent live sessions and he collaborated with musician Charlie Puth on the hit track Left and Right last year. Rapper Mingyu’s K-pop group has already released four full-length studio albums. SEVENTEEN’s latest appearance was on the variety show, In the Soup SVT Edition. season 2.
