Farooq Abdullah attended a condolence meeting at Larnu in Anantnag. Here he answered the questions of journalists.

Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah said that history cannot be erased. The chapters on Mughals may have been removed from NCERT books, but how can one forget Shahjahan, Aurangzeb, Akbar, Babur, Humayun and Jahangir. They have ruled us for 800 years.

When people go to see the Taj Mahal, what will they be told who built it? What about Fatehpur Sikri, where the Mughal Taj was before it moved to Delhi? How will they hide Humayun’s Tomb and Red Fort?

The National Conference leader said that they are shooting themselves in the foot. History will not change. We will be gone, but history will live on. Farooq Abdullah had gone to Larnu in Anantnag district to attend a condolence meeting on Saturday. He said these things while answering the questions of journalists here.
