BTS fans are missing Jin. Last month, the K-pop star left to enlist in the Korean army. Since then fans have been eagerly waiting to know more about his tenure. In a surprising move, Bangtan TV dropped a pre-recorded video of Jin with a message for the ARMYs. In the video, Jin shares that by the time the video is released, he would have joined the army.

In the video, he is heard saying, “I won’t be a citizen until this is over, but I’m here in front of the camera because I wanted to leave you something, even if it’s just a message.” ” He also revealed that he was recording the Korean variety show “Running Man” at the time the video was shot. He also said that he wants to record more videos for his fans before he leaves.

“So I’m here today with the camera. Currently, I am shooting for ‘Running Man’ and whenever I am available, I want to drop as many of these videos and records as possible to share with you every few months, even if it is only Probing in a nutshell,” he says.

Before concluding, he thanked the fans for their love and asked them to wait a little longer before returning. “I may not be with you right now, but I’ll be looking for you soon, so if you just wait. I’ll be back soon,” he continued, “that’s all for today. Next time, I’ll be back with another video when I get a chance. See you then!” They said. Watch Jin’s first video here:

On December 13, Jin was admitted to the 5th Infantry Division’s Recruit Training Center in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. The 30-year-old became the first member of boy band BTS to join the army. Six other members of the group — RM, Suga, Jimin, J-Hope, V and Jungkook — will also enlist in the military, according to the band’s agency Big Hit Music.

Hundreds of military, police, fire and local government officials and media personnel packed a square in front of the boot camp’s main gate for security management and news coverage, respectively, hours before their expected time of admission.

Placards read “We welcome BTS’ Kim Seok-jin and all other military personnel recruits” and balloons were hung there. Kim Seok-jin is Jin’s original Korean name.

Before leaving, the singer took to Weavers, an online community forum for K-pop fans, to say goodbye to his fans early in the morning. “It’s time for the curtain call,” he wrote, using a line from the main character of the same name in the popular online game League of Legends. “I’ve always wanted to say this when I go into the military,” he said.
