BTS members RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook made sure fans had a memorable Army Day this year. It has been nine years since ARMY – Adorable Representative MC for Youth – came into existence. In nine years, Fantasy has grown around the world and supported a two-time Grammy-nominated K-pop group through thick and thin. Every year, BTS members don’t shy away from expressing their gratitude and love for the fantasy. And this year was no different.
Starting Friday, fans who search for ‘BTS’ on Google Search will unlock an easter egg – a purple heart appearing in the left corner of the search bar. On clicking the purple heart, a flurry of purple balloons fills the screen. Some heart shaped purple balloons float with Mike in the middle of the balloons. Messages from the band members are revealed in their voices by clicking on the mic-filled balloons.

Speaking about the collaboration with Variety, Google’s lead Delight Features software engineer Alyssa Wolf said, “BTS has so much positive energy, and we wanted to bring some of that into Search. I’m a fan myself, so I Was thrilled to be able to work on this project!”
The sweet gesture has won the hearts of the fans. Many fans took to Twitter and expressed their gratitude to the members. One fan wrote, ‘You call it mutual love. “It’s so tempting. I’ve been blowing balloons for about 15 minutes. I must stop,” said another fan. “They love us. They definitely love us,” said a third fan.
Ahead of ARMY Day, BigHit Music announced that fans would be treated to a series of vlogs featuring individual BTS members. Taehyung’s Driving Blog will be released on July 9. J-Hope’s ‘J Vlog of Confidence’ will drop on July 16, Jimin’s Bracelet Workshop closes on July 13, Kim Namjoon’s Museum Vlog will be released on July 30. Jungkook’s Camping Vlog, Jin’s Cooking Vlog, and Yongi’s Wood Carving Room Vlog will be released. in August.
