Brutally Trolled! Ryanair Airlines takes a jibe at Belgium, Germany after they get knocked out of FIFA World Cup 2022

The FIFA World Cup 2022 Qatar is in full swing. With the end of the first phase, almost all the teams that qualified for the Round of 16 have been selected. The World Cup has already seen a lot of upsets and fans across the globe are in a jolly mood, some busy trolling their rival team while others are defending their favorite teams. A budget carrier Ryanair Airlines has also entered into the FIFA World Cup 2022 joke by trolling the football teams of Germany and Belgium for their defeat. The teams have been thrown out of the tournament after consecutive defeats in the Qatar World Cup.

Ryanair Airlines posted a picture on the internet trolling Belgium and Germany. The photo shows Wojciech Szczecny with the caption “Carrying Poland” and Kylian Mbappé with the caption “Carrying France”. The third picture in this meme shows a Ryanair airline plane with the caption “Taking Belgium and Germany”. Chhavi subtly states that the teams have been eliminated from the tournament and it is time for them to go home.

Germany were knocked out of the FIFA World Cup 2022 group stage after a controversial goal scored by Japan in their win over Spain, the world champions in the past. Once again, VAR was at the center of the debate as TV replays showed that Japan’s ball, which led to their second goal against Spain, had gone off the field of play. This is the second time in a row that the Germans have been eliminated from the tournament in the first round.

Croatia advanced to the last 16 after playing out a 0-0 draw with Belgium on Thursday. While Belgium was eliminated from the tournament after Croatia’s victory. In each of the two occasions it has been in the knockout stage, the Eastern European country has reached at least the semi-finals. Despite being the second-placed team and one of the tournament favourites, Belgium were knocked out after scoring only one goal in three games.
