The Border Roads Organization (BRO) has cleared the Zojila pass amid heavy snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir. Zojila is a high mountain pass in the Himalayas, in the Indian Union Territory of Ladakh. The pass, located in Dras, connects the Kashmir Valley with the Dras in the west and the Suru valleys in the northeast and the Indus Valley in the east. The Zojila Pass, a mountainous route in Jammu and Kashmir, remained open for the first time in January despite temperatures of -27 degrees Celsius.
