Book on businessman Nirav Modi, accused of PNB scam, will be adapted into a web series

Production banner Abudantia Entertainment has acquired the rights of the journalist, Pawan C. Lal’s book based on scam accused Nirav Modi, titled ‘Floyd: The Rise and Fall of India’s Diamond Mogul Nirav Modi’ will be adapted into a dramatic, multi-season series. Streaming. The book, “Floyd: The Rise and Fall of India’s Diamond Mogul Nirav Modi” chronicles the story of high-profile tycoon Nirav Modi, one of India’s biggest diamond merchants.

It is based on personal encounters, interviews and research conducted by author, investigative journalist, Pawan C. Lal, who will also serve as a consultant writer for the series adaptation.

Author Pawan C. Lal said: “This is an extremely exciting opportunity, and I am thrilled to be a part of this book-to-screen adaptation journey.”

The book chronicles the detailed and fascinating aspects of Nirav Modi’s rise to power and his subsequent downfall, uncovering the man behind one of the biggest financial scams in India that left about 13,500 PNB account holders. Illegal transactions amounting to Rs. in grave despair.

Lal continued: “Capturing the sensibility of a book in a cinematic manner is no easy task, but I have full faith in Abudantia Entertainment and am sure they will do full justice to the effort and give the ‘flawed’ visuals a proper look. Will mount.”
