Palghar: Rape of a five-year-old girl Boisar area of Palghar District In Maharashtra.
According to information shared by Boisar police station inspector Suresh Kadam, when the victim suddenly complained of abdominal pain, her family members took her to the nearest hospital for treatment. The hospital doctor confirmed that the girl was sexually assaulted.
The victim narrated the whole incident at the behest of her mother, after which a complaint was lodged against the 12-year-old minor at Boisar police station on Monday night.
A case has been registered under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the POSCO Act.
Police said that in view of the complaint lodged late night, the accused will be taken into custody on Tuesday and sent to the Children’s Correctional Home after investigation.
