New Delhi: In an unusual incident, an Air India flight had to stop its flight from Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport to London, due to insects! Yes, the airline had canceled the flight and changed it after complaints about pests in the business class section.

According to news agency ANI, Jigme Namgyel Wangchuck, son and successor of Bhutan’s King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, was among those who were on board the AI-111 aircraft.

It is reported that a swarm of ants was found in the business class of the AI-111 flight, which had aborted the take-off from the Delhi airport.

The aircraft was in the passenger bay at the time of complaint following which the flight was diverted which took off later.

Earlier in July, an Air India Express flight on its way to Saudi Arabia had an emergency landing at the Thiruvananthapuram International Airport in Kerala after a crack in its windshield.

The flight made a precautionary landing after taking off for an hour, and had no passengers, and was only carrying cargo and crew members.

This special flight was en route for the Dammam to Thiruvananthapuram flight operations. However, another aircraft was deployed to replace the scheduled flight operations flight with a second set of crew.

In fact, in May, an Air India flight to Newark, America, returned to Delhi after seeing a bat inside the plane. The flight made an emergency landing 30 minutes after takeoff.

Air India officials then told ANI that the plane landed safely and wildlife crews were called to capture and retrieve the bat carcass. The bat was found dead in the business class area of ​​the plane.
