New Delhi: Indian cricket team’s senior batsman Cheteshwar Pujara has been facing the heat for some time now as the senior Test specialist has not been able to score runs in the last few matches even after scoring his last Test century in January 2019. Knock, Pujara, has done it most of the times when the team needed him the most.
The star batsman scored a half-century in the second Test of the series against South Africa in Johannesburg. Former India captain Sunil Gavaskar is very impressed with Pujara’s recent performance and compared him to South African cricket legend Hashim Amla.

Sunil Gavaskar told SuperSport, “When I see him, he reminds me of Hashim. Seeing Hashim bat, you know everything is under control.”
