Congress working president Jitu Patwari emerged as the clear winner by securing 60% of the votes polled for the next PCC chief

Madhya Pradesh often sees a tough rivalry between the BJP and the Congress and in the latest episode the BJP MP unit had conducted an online survey to guess who could replace PCC chief Kamal Nath in the opposition party.
The state unit of the BJP asked from its official Twitter handle on July 5, “Who will replace PCC chief Kamal Nath in the Congress high command in the state?” About 1,300 online users took part in the poll.
and Congress working president Jitu Patwari clearly emerged as the winner securing 60% of the votes (1,268). Kamal Nath’s close aide Sajjan Singh Verma got only 13% votes, while Digvijay Singh’s son Jaivardhan Singh got 27% votes.
Patwari, an MLA from Indore’s Rau, was a minister in the Kamal Nath cabinet and is now the party’s working president. He has been the president of Youth Congress in MP and is among the youth leaders nurtured by former party president Rahul Gandhi.
In response to the online voting by the BJP, Congress IT cell members also threw a poll offering the CM’s choice with leaders like Narottam Mishra, Narendra Singh Tomar, VD Sharma and Kailash Vijayvargiya.
Some Congress workers criticized the BJP for being too concerned about the Congress organization, while BJP workers also pointed out that it was not their party’s business and that they chose their party organization instead of interfering in the affairs of the Congress. advised to focus on Congress spokesperson Ajay Singh Yadav said such polls from the BJP’s Twitter handle displayed the “mental state and nervousness” of the opposition party.
