Prayagraj: In a first, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leadership apart from engaging its 24 wings like youth, women, minority, OBC, SC, Advocate, Health, NGO, Prabudh Varg (educated class) and others for campaigning, have also roped in a team of trusted workers in all 12 assembly seats of Prayagraj district to garner support from Prabhavi Matdata (influential voters) of the area) who could influence other voters into party fold.
BJP (Trans Ganga) and Ashwani Dwivedi told TOI that party workers are making sincere efforts in the rural and urban belt of Kashi Prant to gain support of influential voters who could be able to take a sizable number of voters of all age groups into the party fold. For that, BJP has prepared an assembly wise list of influential voters.
He further added, “We have prepared a list of at least 100 influential people in each assembly who could be able to motivate at least 100 to150 people towards the BJP fold on voting day. The party workers are taking up communication with these influential voters to garner the support for party candidates”. Dwivedi, meanwhile, said “BJP has also roped in a dedicated team of Labharti Sampark Pramukh (beneficiary contact workers) to reach out each and every beneficiary (person who is benefited by the schemes being run by BJP led union and state governments) and ensure their active participation in voting. While a ‘Panna Pramukh’ has been assigned to connect at least 60 voters of his her area, the party has set up a shakti kendra to cover at least five booths of an assembly segment. “Suppose, If an assembly segment has 1200 polling booths in its jurisdiction, we have 240 shakti kendras to activate party workers for encouraging and promoting voters to vote in favor of party” said Dwivedi adding “every shakti kendra has 21-21 members committee to take up hectic activities for campaigning” he added.
The BJP leadership has actively taken up online and offline campaigning in all 12 assembly segments including Meja, Phaphamau, KoraonSoraon, Phulpur, AllahabadNorth, Allahabad South, Allahabad West, Karchana, Pratappur, Handia and Bara.
