Two Bangladesh Airlines planes collided at the hangar of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport here on Sunday evening. The right wing of a Boeing 787 Dreamliner collided with the left wing of a Boeing 737 while it was being taken to a hangar for maintenance at 9.20 pm.
Airport sources said airport officials and engineering teams are assessing the damage.
The Boeing 787 coming from Singapore landed at Dhaka airport at 7.10 pm. It was being taken to the hangar after the passengers disembarked.
