APP said the JJB court acquitted him on the ground that the statements of the witnesses produced by the prosecution lacked coherence and the accused, who is now 43 years old, was never made an accused in any other case. .
He said the court said, “Since the prosecution failed to prove his involvement in the case and the accused was not named in any other case, he should be acquitted of the charge filed against him under section 396 of IPC.”
