The Tajikistan singer has made a place for himself in the hearts of Indians. Buzz is, that the singer-reality show star is all set to get married! Abdu’s upcoming wedding is causing quite a lot of stir, with everyone eagerly awaiting details. As per reports in TOI, the bride, Amira, from Sharjah, is 19 years old.
Abdu took to social media and shared a photo of himself holding a diamond ring. In the caption, he wrote, “I never imagined in my life that I will be so lucky to find a love who respects me and is not burdened by the obstacles in my life 7th of July save the date !! I cannot express to you in words how happy I am.” In the video clip, Abdu can be seen seated on a couch, wearing a crisp, black and white tuxedo. He says, “As you know, I am 20 years old. I have a dream of falling in love, getting a girl who respects me and loves me too much. It’s been my dream. Suddenly, I found that girl, who is respecting me, giving me too much love. I don’t know how to say… I am too much excited. I have one surprise for all of you.” He then goes on to show the ring.
Abdu Rozik has been making a name for himself as both a singer and social media influencer. Hailing from Tajikistan, Abdu Rozik gained fame through his participation in Indian reality shows like Bigg Boss 16 in 2022 and a guest appearance on Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 13 in 2023, both on Colors TV. His popularity soared during Bigg Boss 15, where his friendships with Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, Sajid Kha, and Shiv Thakare earned with a lot of love from the audiences. Their friendship remained unbreakable, and they continued to be close friends even after the show.
In February this year, Abdu ran into a controversy. He was questioned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection to a money laundering case. Reportedly, Abdu was a witness in the case which also involves his Bigg Boss 16 co-contestant Shiv Thakare.
