The actor appeared in Shalin Bhanot Salman Khan-hosted reality show Bigg Boss 16 and became one of the finalists. The actor experienced his fair share of ups and downs during his time in Bigg Boss. Fans loved how she displayed many aspects of herself throughout her time on the controversial reality show. He received criticism from host Salman Khan, like the other contenders, but sometimes received criticism on multiple weekends. Now Shalin has reacted to the beating of the host in an interview.
In conversation with Pinkvilla, Shalin Bhanot talks about whether the criticism of BB16 has demotivated her. The actor said, “No, it never demotivated me. When I was inside, I was just focusing on the reality where I was living, and I was very honest to that moment. For me, I was Tomorrow doesn’t exist for me. Today is the only reality. That’s why I live in the moment, and I can’t even try to please everyone, so there will be people who will like me, and There will be people who like me and don’t like me, and I’m okay with that.”
The actor further spoke about the love he has been receiving from fans post the show. He said, “When I stepped outside, I didn’t get so many happy moments indoors and the kind of love I’m getting from the world. I was in Varanasi, and I met 100 people at Ganga Ghat.” Outside Kashi Vishwanath Temple, I met so many people who showered me with so much love. It was the day before Mahashivratri. So all the low is being compensated by all the high, blessings, respect, love and care, and everything outside.
“So I can’t even complain about what happened on the inside because the love and affection I’m getting on the outside, and it’s all worth it. At the end of the day, it wasn’t all about those contestants, it was about those people.” I was there because of him. To be nominated every week and still survive till the last, so it’s all thanks to him,” he signed off.
