Earthquake in Kargil, magnitude 4

Strong tremors of 02.53 earthquake were felt in Kargil of Jammu and Kashmir tonight. Its intensity has been measured at 4.0 on the React scale. The epicenter of the earthquake was 169 km north of Kargil. Apart from this, an earthquake of 6.3 magnitude struck Nagasaki in Japan and 4.2 in Pangin in Arunachal Pradesh at 9.38 pm on Friday. Decision on election rallies in five states including UP today

The Election Commission is going to hold an important meeting regarding election rallies during the assembly elections of five states on Saturday. In this meeting, a decision will be taken whether the ban on election rallies should be extended or not. State officials including the Union Health Secretary will attend the meeting.
