Under this, JioPhone plans, unlimited plans and data add-ons have been increased from 19.6 to 21.3%. Airtel and Vodafone Idea had made their plans costlier by 25% only last week. These companies had cited the ever-increasing losses as the reason behind this.
Now Rs 16 costlier will get Rs 75 plan
In a statement issued by Jio, it has been said that the price of the existing Rs 75 plan will increase by 20% to Rs 91 from December 1. The Rs 129 plan will cost Rs 155, the Rs 399 plan will cost Rs 479, the Rs 1,299 plan will cost Rs 1,559 and the Rs 2,399 plan will now cost Rs 2,879. The price of data top-up has also been increased. Now for 6 GB data, 61 instead of 51, 12 GB will cost Rs 121 instead of 101 and 50 GB will cost Rs 301 instead of Rs 251.

NDA ally National People’s Party demands cancellation of CAA
On Sunday, a day before the winter session of Parliament, the leaders of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) held a meeting in Parliament. In this, the National People’s Party, an ally of Meghalaya, demanded the repeal of the Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2019 (CAA). CAA is being opposed in many parts of the country since its inception.
