Fire breaks out in Farrukhabad-Kasganj Express train

PM Modi will reach Himachal today; Will lay the foundation of 3 hydropower projects, will inaugurate one

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will reach Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh on Monday. Apart from addressing a rally here, he will lay the foundation of three hydropower projects worth Rs 11,000 crore, while inaugurating a hydropower project.

It was told by the Prime Minister’s Office that PM Modi will lay the foundation stone of Renukaji Dam and Hydropower Project costing Rs 7,000 crore for 40 MW power generation. This project is pending in the files for almost 30 years. Delhi will get 500 million units of additional power from this project.

Apart from this, PM Modi will also lay the foundation stone of 210 MW Luhri Stage-1 project costing Rs 1800 crore and Dhaulasidh project of 66 MW capacity costing Rs 680 crore. According to the PMO, Modi will also inaugurate the 111 MW Savra-Kuddu Hydropower Project built at Rs 2080 crore.
