Security forces killed three terrorists in an encounter in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama on Wednesday. All three were associated with Jaish-e-Mohammed, including one Pakistani. Incriminating material, arms and ammunition including 2 M-4 carbines, 1 AK series rifle have been recovered from them.

PM Modi will lay the foundation stone of Delhi-Katra Expressway today
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone for development projects worth Rs 42,750 crore in Punjab’s Ferozepur today. These projects also include the Delhi-Amritsar-Katra Expressway, which will directly connect Delhi with the Vaishno Devi temple. This will reduce the time taken to reach Amritsar and Katra from Delhi by half.
According to media reports, the purpose of preparing this expressway is to provide easy access to Vaishno Devi Dham, besides connecting major Sikh pilgrimage sites. For this, the highway will also be four-laned from Amritsar to Una in Himachal Pradesh, which will connect four major national highways.
