The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is in a panic over Punjab. Which was suddenly visible by declaring 10 MLAs as candidates. After Delhi, Punjab is the only state where Arvind Kejriwal’s party was visible. However, due to the ’emptiness’ created due to leadership, this land also seems to be ‘barren’. The biggest reason for this is believed to be the efforts to control Punjab from Delhi. Because of this there is dissatisfaction in the party. Due to which it is being considered less compulsion of Kejriwal’s masterstroke.

The situation is that there are almost 3 months left in the Punjab Assembly elections and AAP is not getting a CM face in the state. In the year 2017, those who became MLAs in ‘Aap Ki Lehar’, they are leaving as soon as the elections are near. The party has tried damage control by giving tickets to 10 sitting MLAs suddenly on Friday.

Had a conversation with Oberoi and Sood

Political sources tell that the Aam Aadmi Party wants to make a veteran Sikh face the CM face in Punjab. For this, the party leadership was also discussed with Dubai hotelier SPS Oberoi and Bollywood actor Sonu Sood. However, both of them shunned politics.

Don’t trust local leadership

It is a common discussion within the Aam Aadmi Party, especially in Punjab, that the leaders sitting in Delhi are not trusting the local leadership here. The demand for declaring Sangrur Lok Sabha MP Bhagwant Mann as the CM face is continuously rising within the party. But the ‘Delhi people’ are not showing faith in him. Bhagwant Mann is the biggest face of the party in Punjab. Even in Modi wave, he won the Sangrur Lok Sabha seat for the second time with a record number of votes.

Can’t stand protest

It is also said that the ‘Delhi people’ within the Aam Aadmi Party and especially Arvind Kejriwal do not tolerate opposition from anyone. Sukhpal Khaira, who was the Leader of Opposition from the party in the Punjab Assembly after the 2017 elections, has also said this. Then Khaira was replaced by Harpal Cheema as Leader of Opposition.

Difficulties increasing the statements of MLAs

The statements of the sitting MLA of Aam Aadmi Party are also increasing the difficulty of the party. Bathinda Rural MLA Rupinder Ruby, who joined Congress this week, has even said that if Bhagwant Mann cannot become the CM face, then only Arvind Kejriwal will be there. After this statement of Ruby, the Delhi leadership got angry with her. On November 11, during the special session of the Punjab Assembly, AAP MLA from Raikot, Jagtar Singh Hissowal and Jagraon MLA Sarvjit Kaur Manuke were close to CM Charanjit Singh Channi.

Good chance this time for the party in Punjab

The Aam Aadmi Party has a good chance in the Punjab Assembly elections to be held after three and a half months. Shiromani Akali Dal has not recovered from the allegations of sacrilege and drugs. This time BJP is also not with him. In Punjab, the BJP, which is confident of contesting all the 117 seats on its own, does not have much support in the state.

The ruling Congress is embroiled in a tussle and Captain Amarinder Singh has left the party, which had a large base in the urban Hindu vote bank. Amarinder Singh has announced to contest the elections by forming a new party. In such a situation, if there is a four-sided contest in Punjab in 2022, then Kejriwal’s lottery can be held here.

AAP suddenly released the list on Friday amid the fear of MLAs being cut tickets.

AAP stunned in 2017

AAP stunned everyone in the 2017 Punjab Assembly elections, which was born out of Anna Hazare’s movement. The party, which claimed to be doing new kind of politics, impressed the Punjabis a lot. A large number of youth and elite class people joined him. The election atmosphere became such that from the common man to the bureaucracy, preparations were made to welcome the government with a broom. However, in the last two days, politics took such a turn that Congress formed the government winning 77 seats and AAP got only 20 seats. However, she managed to thrash the Akali-BJP alliance at number three.

broom that disintegrates over time

AAP, which won 20 seats in Punjab four and a half years ago, has now lost the status of the main opposition party. 7 of its MLAs have left the party. These include Sukhpal Khaira, Najar Singh Manshahiyan, Kanwar Sandhu, HS Phoolka, Piermal Singh Khalsa, Rupinder Kaur Ruby and Jagdev Singh Kamalu. Khaira, Ruby, Piermal and Kamalu have already joined the Congress. At present, AAP has only 13 MLAs left in the Punjab Assembly while Shiromani Akali Dal has 15 MLAs.

Tickets to 10 MLAs for Punjab Assembly elections, names of 3 MLAs including Hisowal missing

Because of which 2017 was lost, the same concern is still there.

The Aam Aadmi Party had a great chance in the 2017 Punjab Assembly Elections. However, till the end of the election, the matter got stuck on the CM face. Opponents said that party convener Arvind Kejriwal wants to make himself or a non-Punjabi as the CM of Punjab. This was not digested by the Punjabis. Now once again the question of CM face is standing in front of Kejriwal.
