Bappi Lahiri shares health update after rumors of losing his voice go viral, calls it ‘disappointing’
Bollywood singer-composer Bappi Lahiri has shared an update about his health on social media. All this happened after the rumors of his ill health went viral on the internet. It claimed that the 68-year-old singer has lost his voice. Denying these reports, the veteran singer wrote that he is “disappointed” after hearing the rumours and is “doing well.” Bappi Lahiri shared a post on Instagram on Sunday evening, which read, “Disappointed to learn about some media outlets giving false reports about me and my health. With the blessings of our fans and well wishers, I am doing well – Bappi.”
The post was captioned with a hashtag that read, “#falsereporting.” The same not only caught the attention of his fans who prayed for his good health but also caught the attention of singer Shaan. He slammed those spreading false information and wrote in the comment section, “This is really sick.. #falsereporting.. don’t know what they gain by this.. just to create panic and confusion.”

The senior singer tested positive for COVID-19 in April this year and was admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital. However, a report in Midday states that he is still battling health issues.
The report said, “The singer has been confined to a wheelchair, and a lift has been installed in his Juhu bungalow for his easy mobility. Post-discharge visitors to Bappi have found him unusually low . Lately, he is not speaking. This has left many wondering if he will be able to make a comeback in singing.”
On the work front, Bappi Lahiri is counted among the popular singers of the late 1970s-80s. He has lent his voice to hit songs from movies like Chalte Chalte, Disco Dancer and Sharabi.
His last Bollywood song was the track of Baaghi 3 starring Bhankas. Tiger Shroff And Shraddha Kapoor.
