Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati on Wednesday said that her party will not join any alliance and intends to contest the upcoming general elections and assembly polls on its own. Addressing a press conference, he said that the party’s preparations are going on in full swing ahead of the Lok Sabha elections.
“As the Lok Sabha elections are round the corner, our preparations are going on in full swing and we are also holding meetings across the country,” Mayawati said. His statement comes a day after the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and opposition parties convened meetings to increase their political strength ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
