While some people are pushing for the actor to be cast in the film, a good majority expressed their disgust over the trending topic as Ukraine is currently in the middle of a war and the death toll is increasing day by day.
One Twitter user said, “American fans chose Jeremy Renner as Ukraine’s president for Hollywood.

Zelensky himself is a former actor who entered politics in 2019. The father of two was one of the most popular Ukrainian TV comedians who played the president in the satirical show ‘Servant of the People’. Keeping this in mind, Twitterati said that the President can play himself and not an actor to play his role in a future film.

Rainer, on the other hand, has not reacted to the post. However, he is doing his part to help the relief efforts and urging fans and followers to donate to various relief efforts.
Meanwhile, filmmakers and actors Sean Penn is in Ukraine to continue work on a documentary about the ongoing Russian attack.
He was also due in late November to work on the project, which is being produced by Vice Studios. Photos from the time showed him going to the frontline Ukrainian Armed Forces Near Donetsk region.
The Oscar winner has been involved in several international humanitarian and anti-war efforts over the years.
