The council informed that the marks of practical subjects will remain unchanged and will be treated as same as the previous mark sheet. “There will be no separate practical examination in the special examination,” read the AHSEC notification.
All categories of students such as those going for Regular, Re-appearance, Improvement, Repetition, Certain Subjects and Compartmental examinations along with all those candidates who applied online for the canceled Higher Secondary Final Examination-2021 with their subjects , they are eligible to attend. It said that the mark sheet of the particular examination will be issued to the candidates after proper evaluation and accordingly, the mark sheet issued to them as per the previous mark giving formula will be treated as cancelled. “The original mark sheet has to be submitted to the center in-charge of the concerned examination center for obtaining the admit card before the commencement of the particular examination,” the notification said.
For the aggrieved state board examinees of class 10th, Board of Secondary EducationAssam has already announced a special test. Candidates can apply for the particular exam on the official portal of Saba Between 5 and 12 August.
Even as physical classes are yet to start in the state due to the prevailing COVID situation, sources in the education department told TOI that special tests may be conducted for class X and XII candidates before offline classes are allowed. Huh.
