Dibrugarh: A team of Dibrugarh Police Miraj’s house was raided on Thursday night under the leadership of DSP (HQ) Aocharjya Jibon Barua. KHANA notorious drug dealer located in Panchali area of the town and seized one Rhino horn, an ivory can and 19 grams of brown sugar. Rs 1.3 lakh in cash and two mobile handsets have also been recovered from the house of the accused.
Police have identified Khan and one of his henchmen as Anisho. Rahman.
A case has been registered against them at Dibrugarh police station under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances.NDPS) Act, 1985. Police said the accused was involved in drug smuggling and smuggling of animal parts.
