New Delhi: After being mercilessly trolled for one of his recent tweets, where he can be seen taking a dig at people who easily eliminate their loved ones, Asim Riaz has now come clean on his tweet. Earlier today, the ‘Bigg Boss 13’ contestant was trolled on Twitter after netizens assumed that she took a dig at Shehnaaz Gill for dancing at a wedding.
Now, in one of his recent tweets, Asim Riaz has revealed that his earlier tweet was not about the person netizens were assuming. He wrote in a post, “Friends got my attention and I think I need to clean it up now. I lost a good friend of mine from Jammu last month and some of my friends from the same group are now partying in Goa. So I was not really telling them who you all are believing and remember that if I want to say anything I have the guts to say it straight. I am also close, I have houses around me too So stop targeting, stop blaming the loopholes and stop taking empathy.
Recently, a video of Shehnaaz Gill dancing at a wedding party went viral on social media. She attended her manager’s engagement party, her first public event after the death of her boyfriend and actor Siddharth Shukla. Sidharth was also a close friend of Asim Riaz and wrote in his earlier tweet, “Just saw some dancing clips…seriously what do people talk about so soon to their loved ones”, people on Twitter assumed that he took a dig at Shahnaz Gill.
