Arlington: 4 injured in Texas high school shooting; Gunman ran away – Times of India

Arlington: An 18-year-old man opened fire inside a high school in the Dallas area, wounding four people and fleeing. Officials gave this information on Wednesday.

Arlington Assistant Police Chief Kevin Colby said two of the four wounded were shot. Three of the four were taken to the hospital and the other person refused treatment.
NS Mansfield Independent School District Timberview High School was on lockdown Wednesday morning, a news release said.
The police department said on Twitter that officers were “duly searching” and working closely with other law enforcement agencies.
Police said a reunification center had been set up for the students and their families.
The district said students and staff were locked up in classrooms or offices.
Timberview serves approximately 1,900 students from classes IX to XII. The huge complex opened in 2004.
The report comes just days after a shooting at a charter school in Houston in which an administrator was injured.
