After some time Arbul Islam reached the spot. Meanwhile, hundreds of Arbul followers gathered at Natunhat market, a short distance from the power grid area. Soon after, bricks and stones were thrown at the vehicle of land committee leader Mirza Hassan. He was reportedly pulled out of the car and beaten up. As soon as the news of the attack on Mirza Hasan became public, members of the agitated land committee came out from Machibhanga in Khamritee village. After this they started jamming Haroa Road. Traffic came to a standstill due to the jam.
