Apple’s Safari now has over 1 billion users, yet lags behind Google Chrome’s more than 3.3 billion users

According to a recent report, Apple’s web browser Safari has finally crossed the 1 billion user mark. This makes Safari the second web browser to reach the one billion landmark, after Google Chrome.

According to a study by AtlasVPN, 1,006,232,879 internet users now use Safari, which makes it the second largest browser in terms of user base. This number 1,006,232,879 accounts for 19.16 per cent of internet users. Apple’s Safari browser comes pre-installed on every iPhone and Mac device sold, which gives the browser the advantage of choosing which software people use by default, the report said.
