Apple Peak Performance Event: iPhone 13 in green could be announced alongside iPhone SE 3

New Delhi: Apple is all set to hold its first event of the year and it is likely to unveil a new budget iPhone SE which has been in talks for quite some time. The tech giant could introduce a refreshed iPad Air and maybe even some new Macs. According to a new leak, Apple may also unveil the iPhone 13 in a new green color variant at its peak performance event.

If the iPhone 13 also gets a green color, it will be the sixth color. Apple has already announced the device in India in Midnight, Blue, Starlight, Pink and Product Red color options. According to a new report by Apple Track, the new iPhone 13 color variant will be dark green. It should be noted that Apple last unveiled a new purple color model for the iPhone 12 at its mid-cycle refresh.

A highly anticipated product to be unveiled at Apple’s Peak Performance event is the new iteration in the iPhone SE line. According to a previous report by news agency Bloomberg, the new iPhone SE 3 is likely to come with 5G support, a faster chipset and a better camera.

Some reports also suggest that the Cupertino, California-based tech giant will be announcing new Macs, such as the Mac Mini, with chipset updates to the M1 Pro or M1 Max.

Earlier last week, Apple’s SVP of marketing, Greg Joswiak, tweeted the event invite with a cryptic teaser. “Watch the performance. March 8th. See you there. #AppleEvent,” Joswiak tweeted late Wednesday. The cryptic teaser shows the Apple logo in different colors which indicates that Apple may offer one of its products in multiple color options and it could be the Apple iPad Air 5 as the company has introduced new features in the iPad Air line since 2020. Haven’t launched a new iteration.

Earlier last week, a leak suggested that a new affordable Apple iPhone SE is likely to be available at a starting price of $300 or around Rs 22,500. According to analyst John Donovan’s tip, the upcoming iPhone SE 3 could cost $300 which makes it much cheaper than the base variant of Apple iPhone 12 in the US. The iPhone SE 3 will be a 5G device.
