Apple has also updated its Watch Support page with this information. It tells users what they need to do if they face any similar software issue. The same page had earlier advised users to visit the company’s authorized service center.
Also, if for some reason your Apple Watch stops working during the update process, an alert will appear on users’ iPhone asking them to restore Apple Watch. Below are the important steps suggested by Apple:
* Make sure an iPhone is nearby. The iPhone needs to be iOS 15.4 or later, it needs to be connected to Wi-Fi with Bluetooth, and it needs to be unlocked.
* Put your Apple Watch on its charger
* Double-click the side button (the button below the circular Digital Crown) on your Apple Watch
* Now follow the steps you see on your iPhone
Apple also asks users to check their Wi-Fi if these steps don’t work for them. “Try using a 2.4GHz network instead of 5GHz, and make sure you’re not on a captive or 802.1X network,” the company says on the support page.
