Apollo Education UK launches 3-year International Clinical Fellowship Program

Apollo Education UK (AEUK) on Tuesday launched the Apollo International Clinical Fellowship Program (ICFP), a three-year program for MCh/MMed degrees in the United Kingdom.

As part of AEUK’s Global Workforce Development (GWD) initiative, this program is carried out in collaboration with UK partners Global Training and Education Center (GTEC), Wrightington, Wigan & Leigh NHS Teaching Hospital (WWL) and Edge Hill University (EHU). was launched.

In a press release, AEUK said, during this three-year ICFP programme, doctors (MS/MD/DnB) can ‘earn along with learning’ while mentoring senior doctors in a preparatory year at Apollo Hospitals, India To assist in the transition to NHS clinical practice before being placed in a UK hospital for the next two or more years, where they can complete their clinical education.

As well as gaining this international work experience in their area of ​​specialization, doctors will study for a Master of Surgery or Master of Medicine degree at Edge Hill University.

The 3-year Apollo ICFP program provides a specialty pathway to doctors who have completed their MS/MD/DNB in ​​India. Selected doctors will spend the first year in India at Apollo Hospitals and years 2 and 3 will work and learn in NHS hospitals in the UK. Upon completion of training in surgical/medical specialties, doctors are awarded an MCh/MMed degree by Edge Hill University in the UK.
