Angelina Jolie celebrates birthday by bursting cake on Salma Hayek’s face; watch video

Desperado star Salma Hayek lives completely rent-free in our minds. The actress recently spent her 55th birthday with Angelina Jolie, her co-star from Eternal. Looks like Jolie and Salma are the new BFFs in Hollywood town. Nothing in physics can account for how two movie stars didn’t disintegrate an entire room with their presence in the same space. Salma, whose birthday was on Thursday, posted a cute video of herself sitting in front of the cake on Instagram on September 4. Next to him were his brothers Sami Hayek and Jolie.

Salma’s friends sang “Mordida! Mordida!” in the video. The word alludes to the Mexican ritual of “la mordida”, which translates to “cutting” in English, in which a person’s face is cut into their birthday cake so that they can take a bite. This work was done by none other than Jolie, the special guest for the night. The video features the actress holding Salma’s head as she leans over and encourages Sami to lead the ritual. Salma, on the other hand, didn’t have it and tapped Jolie’s palm as a sign to go for it. After some more reluctance, Jolie pushes the birthday girl.
