Ananya Panday was last seen in Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, which turned out to be a massive breakthrough for her. The actress earned widespread fame and won multiple accolades for her performance as Ahana in the film.
Making her debut with Karan Johar’s Student of the Year 2, Ananya Panday gained a strong foothold in the industry. She earlier spoke with PTI and shared, “I always wanted people to take me seriously as an actor.” She said her approach to roles and choices has evolved with her personal growth, stating, “It’s not that it (choices) changed after Gehraiyaan. I’m in my 20s; I’m growing up, and there are different things that I’m relating to.” According to her, this transformation in choices is akin to a ripple effect.
In the interview, Ananya revealed having a wish list of collaborators and discreetly manifesting her desire to work with specific individuals. However, she underscored that “nothing works like good work,” emphasising her commitment to focusing on the quality of her projects.
Now, Ananya Panday is all set to make her Ott debut with the web series Call Me Bae. She has already started shooting and often shares glimpses from the set.
Apart from this, Ananya is currently in the news for her rumoured breakup with Aditya Roy Kapur. A close friend of the two actors told the Bombay Times that “That they broke up almost a month ago. They were going quite well, and the breakup came as a shock to all of us. They are cordial with each other. Ananya is trying to move on; of course, there’s hurt. She is spending time with her new furry friend. Aditya is also trying to deal with the situation maturely.”
